Dayanna Noguera
Student • Aspiring Attorney • Community Advocate
Born in Colombia and shaped by faith, perseverance, and growth, Dayanna arrived in the United States seven years ago with a commitment to bring her very best to everything she does.
Roots & Early Responsibility
As the oldest sister, Dayanna learned responsibility early. While her parents worked tirelessly, she lovingly cared for her younger sister— calling her mi pollita, her first “baby.” These experiences nurtured maturity by necessity and instilled a deep sense of duty from a young age.
Adolescence & Self-Discovery
Dayanna’s teenage years brought real challenges—insecurities about her body and personality, and bullying when she didn’t yet know how to say “no.” Through it all, her mother stood as her greatest supporter, offering love, guidance, and resilience.
Work Ethic & New Beginnings
At just 14, Dayanna entered the workforce and learned the value of hard work and sacrifice. In the United States, with English as her second language, she discovered that success isn’t perfection—it’s the daily discipline of giving your best. She carried this belief into academics, boldly pursuing her high school diploma and college degree at the same time.
Faith, Mentors & Community
Along the way, Dayanna has witnessed God’s grace through “angels”—mentors, friends, and supporters—who offered transportation, shelter, and encouragement when she needed it most.
“Perfection isn’t required—consistent effort, faith, and resilience are enough.”
Education & Aspirations
Dayanna is continuing her education in Criminal Justice, determined to silence the voices of doubt and fear that say, “you are not enough.” Her dream is to become a lawyer—serving her community with strength, justice, and compassion.
Philosophy
Dayanna does not believe in perfection. She believes in the power of effort, faith, and resilience. Her life is proof that giving your best, every single day, is more than enough—it is the key to turning dreams into reality.
