Since 2004, Dr. Lana has been recognized for at least six medically documented “miracle healings,” a journey portrayed in the documentary Angel Wishes — Journey of a Spiritual Healer.
Origins of a Healer
In 1999, Dr. Lana became seriously ill and experienced her own healing through a spiritual healer. This life-changing event set her on a path of study and practice across multiple healing modalities.
Training & Service
Following her recovery, she pursued extensive training and began serving others through Reiki and Healing Touch. Dr. Lana partnered with Cincinnati-based organizations, including Hospice of Cincinnati and Cancer Family Care, providing supportive care to patients and families.
A Pivotal Season
In 2004, when her second husband, Frank Bettencourt, faced a serious illness, Dr. Lana more fully recognized the power of her healing gifts. The film Angel Wishes — Journey of a Spiritual Healer chronicles these intertwined journeys of illness and recovery for both Frank and Lana.
